I can't believe how time has flown! In July this year I was contacted about taking photos of year 6 students, all 83 of them, at their leaving party or as some call it the prom. So many of them were all dressed up, the boys looked really smart in suits and nice shirts while the girls were looking lovely in beautiful dresses. I had never done anything like it before but I was ready to take on this amazing opportunity and challenge! I kept meaning to write this post but doing a school shoot is a lot of work and then I was busy preparing for a Wedding this past Saturday!! It's not just about taking the photos, you have edit them, print proofs then organise them, deliver the order forms with the proofs, collect the orders, order the final products and then organise all the prints and lastly get them ready for shipping or delivery to the school.  Saying all that it was a fantastic experience and I had a great time, the staff were all so lovely and helpful and the children were all very cooperative and everything went smoothly :-) Hopefully I will get the opportunity again next year and am hoping to also secure a few more schools and am going to start looking into nurseries as well.  So if anyone works in a nursery or school and can get me in touch/pass on details of who I could contact it would be greatly appreciated!! I'm really pleased with how well it all turned out and a huge thank you to Lauren again for contacting me! Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their summer holidays!
