Doo doo doo doooo! Introducing... AVA!

I'm still flying high from one of the most amazing newborn shoots I've had. This adorable little lady has a pretty awesome big brother called Oliver that I am sure is going to look out for her as she gets older.

As for baby Ava, she was a little angel and slept peacefully through the majority of our session. I have to mention how much of a superstar her big brother was. I always suggest to parents who want sibling photos to bring someone else along so they can take the sibling home once we have finished with those particular photos. Newborn sessions can last up to 4 hours so you can imagine how bored a toddler could get. While his new sister was being fed by mommy though he and I had fun making puzzles and building train tracks and he stayed the whole time. We even got dad to help out with the track.

I always love incorporating items that parents bring to a session. I have to be honest and say Ava’s mom caught me by a bit of a surprise when she asked if she could bring her wedding dress. I was definitely excited but also slightly nervous about how I was going to use a wedding dress with an 11 day old baby. I needn’t have worried. I am so happy with the way the dress pictures and Ava turned out and I hope I have more moms request this! Thank you so much for asking Louise!
